my comments about middle is I LOVE MIDDLE SCHOOL!
but some of the classes are hard.The classes that are
hard are health computer but reading is so easey
because all you have to do is read and do worksheets

I love middle school except that there was no recess. That sucks but
my school has vending machines and I got the coolest teachers.My
school is a technolgoy school. We have computers all over the place.

at gym. You should go to this school if you like computers. Well,

I just moved here, and I thought it would be hard to get into a new
school, especially middle school. But I learned that if you have one
great friend, mine being Crystal, you can do anything. If you're like
me and are a big tomboy-outcasty type, don't worry. Just be yourself
and you'll go far. In terms of dating, well, most relationships I see
last a good 3 days at most. Don't rush into it, because that will
happen to you. Most of the guys in middle school are shy and dumb.
There are exceptions,though. Find a guy that is smart, funny, and duh,
hot. Not too many of them so get them while you can. I'm single
because all the guys in 6B are stupid except for nerds. Know that if 3
or more people come up to you and say a guy likes you, then chances
are they do. 1 person, not too reliable unless it's that guy. I've
have 40 or so people say that one guy likes me. I think I'd say yes if
he asked me out because he fits all the terms described earlier. Oh,
the lockers rock. 8 classes d!

well, my real opinion is it "stinks"....i mean i thought it would be
cool to be able to walk in the halls but it want and i thought you
would be able to meet alot of new cool friends and have alot of
relationships without anybody pressuring you but i was totally wrong.i
mean it was cool that i met some guys i liked and alot of cool
friends..oh and you have to get up earlier.but my favorite thing about
middle school is that it gives you a chance to meet new people and
stuff but my least favorite thing is how everyone is like in groups
and you can not be in a specific type of group without having some
kind of specail quality!the thing that surprised me the most about
middle school was that how many people that never went out with anyone
last year goes out with people this year and starts to become
popular!!the thing i learned the most aboutwas that peer pressure does
exsist and it does not matter if you ahve a date or not it matters
that you like the way you are inside of you!!
!oh and that you should always have good friends by your side just in
case something bad happens and that you would need a shoulder to cry
on. my favorite subject is p.e. because it works soo good with your
body and mind and i like to stay in shape!! my favorite teacher
influenced me to try my best at everything no matter how small or
big...i love that about that teacher.you know i think it feels good to
just talk and say what i feel out to everyone...well now you know how
i feel but how i feel does not mean you have to feel the same way i
mean you all might love middle school but im sorry...... i dont.and if
you are just going into mid-high dont worry maybe it wont be as bad

Middle School is really awesome if you have fun with it. Be
optimistic, make friends, and get the best grades you can. Everyone
belongs somewhere, so just find the clique that's right for you and
resist the temptation of being rude or smart alecky. In 6th grade it's
easy to make friends because that's what -everyone- is looking to do,
but it really does get harder as you get older. Keep your reputation
fairly good and you'll be fine. Ignore the older kids.. it's just a
tradition to pick on the younger children, so don't take it personal.

it was not as scary as 5th graders think i was scared at 1st but know

Well you can say a lot about middle school. Personally the things that
I like about middle school is that you will always be making new
friends, but at the same time you may be losing old ones too. Some of
our teachers are so stricked but some will let you just sit there and
talk and write notes if you want too. The stuff that sucks about M.S
is that you ALWAYS have homework even on the weekends. But really when
I was a 6th grader I loved it I thought that i was awesome because i
was in middle school. Now i just want to leave and go to high school.
When your in middle school you should always just take the time and
half fun you will never get those years back, you middle school years
really determine who you will be in high school, think about what you
want to be known as.

Middle school is really fun. I do like the fact that you have a lot
more freedom and independance, but i also hate that kids are so mean
to other kids. In middle school there are lots of "clicks" that all
the diffent "groups" have, but you should always be positive about
it...i'm so glad that this is my last year of middle school, and then
i'm at the high school...i'm so ready, and tired of middle school...i
hate all the mean kids, and junk like that...I hate middle school
because i want to be friends with everyone, but in middle school, it
doesnt work that way. And if you're coming into middle school with a
negative energy then you'll never survive becuase you gotta be tough,
becuase i guarentee at least one kid will be mean to you, and if you
dont learn how to deal with it in a good way, then you'll end up with
not a lot of friends..this is middle school and its defenately not
like elementary school, smaller lockers, locks on the lockers, so many
things are different and !
i hope that if you're coming into middle school, you do a good job,
and dont slack off, dont be ajerk and make fun of people cuz some kids
think its cool, but its not, cuz someone gets hurt and you woulndt

Hey! I just want to tell anyone going into middle school—DON'T
WORRY!! ;-) It's not a scary place at all, and it's almost exactly
like elemenatary school. I already knew a lot of kids (because many
were coming from my elementary school), but I also met some great and
new ones! Even though it may seem hard to make friends, it's pretty
easy when you have a lot of classes. There might be some changes in
middle school, but most of them are for the better and you will get

What i think about middle school? I think Middle is way better than

I thought that middle school was going to be harder to understand and

When I first started middle school I thought it just going to be a
better more improved 6th grade but I was way wrong! There are no
recesses, only a half hour lunch time and the people you thought were
friends turn against each other. some moments it feels like your

floating through the day, middle school is just... unpredictible.
Sometimes you just wish people could just be friends again and not
hate each other any more. Thats the thing that surprised me, you didnt

I loved middle school!
Every morning I would awake, very excited about going to school. I
sometimes broke the rules by arriving a little earlier then what was
allowed. It was ok. I did not get in trouble.
And, very often, I would stay late; talking with teachers or other
middle school students waiting around for their parents to pick them
up.
I had a lot of different memorable experiences. I saw kids, cry, get
in trouble, laugh, get excited and fall in and out of "love."
Teachers were fun, too. I liked doing pulling practical jokes on some
of my teachers. I guess it was ok, because after they saw who did it,
they really did not get very mad.
I liked those special days, like Medieval Market, holidays, or
special event days where you could dress up! One time, during
Halloween, I actually dressed up to look like the school secretary!
Boy, was she surprised to see me walk into the office!
It was a very sad time for me when it was time to leave. Like all
other middle school students who start to feel anxious about leaving
and entering a different world with different challenges, I had the
same anxious feelings.
As I look back on my time in middle school, I do not regret one moment
of the 19 years that I was there. You see, I was the principal.

I thought middle school was going to be a lot more work. My teachers
are great . I HATE WITH A PASSION SCIENCE oo i can not take it. The
amount of homework i get is reasonable i like it and i dont have to

for all of you who are starting middle school, here is some useful
advice...
1. after you get your locker, if you find it too much of a problem to
get there, carry 2 subjects with you at a time! it helps!
2. find out who you are and who your real friends are and then hang
out with them! always be nice to EVERYONE even though they might be a
'geek' because what goes around, comes around and you might find you a
new best friend!
3. always stand up for what you think is right! don't let anyone tell
you that you are a dork because you won't curse or do something you
know is bad! they will learn to respect you!
4. DON'T DO DRUGS! you could get busted and then your record will go
down the toilet!
5. STUDY FOR STUFF! instead of playing video games, watching t.v, or
talking on the phone, study! it might just come in handy, and you will
find that your grades will improve from it.
6.DON'T talk back to the teacher when she wants you to do something!
she will march your butt down to the office or write you up! that
means you will probably not be liked by a lot of teachers! they are
there to help you and they deserve respect, give it to them!
7.do your homework! if you need help, ask the teacher that is what
they are there for! ooh, but do NOT CHEAT! they want to know what you
know, not what your friends know!
8. respect your school and other people's property! how would you like
it if someone wrote on your wall with spray paint or got in your
locker and stole something????? think about it...
9. always get a jump start on your projects or stuff like make up
work... the quicker you get it done, the more time you will have to do
other things! plus you won't be stressed! ( but do not race through
it! if you don't have time to do it right the first time, then you
will have to make time to do it again! )
10. finally, HAVE FUN! get involved with clubs, band, chorus, etc. !
it will make your year go a whole lot better! ( but do not sign up for
too much, it can cause you to have a melt down!! )
hope you like the advice! if you put this to heart then you will find
out that middle school isn't so bad after all! well, until next time!

actually a 6th grade teacher... I do want to say that after teaching
5th grade for a dozen years, the switch to middle school has been
fantastic. Middle schoolers—Enjoy these years! Muse all you want,
but don't worry and stress. Have fun! Middle schoolers have a great
position in life—old enough to understand lots, yet young enough not

The first week all the teachers are really great. They don't mark you

MiDdLe ScHoOl Is CoOl! i like middle school. For all the people who
are about to start middle school, it's so much fun, but there are some
things that can be "unexcepted." First don't be nervous, cause
there's nothing to be nervous about. Second, don't let it change who
you are, you may think that being popular is really good and stuff but
it's not, you shouldn't hang out with someone just to be "cool". Also
don't exclude anyone because you think they aren't cool enough. The
truth is you shouldn't hang out with people just to be "cool" or feel
like you fit in. at some schools the "popular" kids are kids who can
be nice at times but at other times really mean. You might also feel
jelous because alot of guys sometimes like them because they are
"pretty" or whatever... but it's better to have someone like you for
you and not for looks and because you are popular. Some more things
you probably won't know about popular people is they judge people
like: oh my gosh, look at her haircut! if they say something mean
ignore it because if you let it get to you it might really make you
hurt. Not always are popular people mean, some can be nice and funny,
but be aware of the one's that aren't. Third, you need to make your
own chocies don't let people make them for you, be your own person.
(DO NOT do drugs say NO) fourth, in middle school you get more blame
because you become more mature , but thats a good thing to become more
mature because you are trusted more. it's kind of a time of growth,
emotianly and physically. i really like middle school, at my school
it's kindergarden through 8th grade but you start middle school in 6th
grade. At my school before middle school there was pressure too, and
popular people but that could just be my school. anyway the some of
the good things are : you are respected more and trusted, you get to
change for P.E. ( physical education ),you learn ALOT for later life,
it's alot of fun,and soOoOoO much more!! I LOVE middle school and so
do alot of people, don't be nervous if you're!
just going into it, think of it as a new start. I hope yall like

it. But there are somethings people need to know before they come
into middle school. You are going to be peer pressured to do drugs or

Also there is going to be gossip!!! Just take it. Dont let is

Besides all the peer preasure and gossip, Middle School ROCKS!!!!
Being with friends, more than one teacher, Football games, Basketball
games, Baseball -or softball girls!!!-,Wrestling matches, Tennis
matches, and the list goes on for games!!! And if your a girl and try
out for Cheerleading, DONT do it to be popular, believe me im on a
sqaud, It wont work on the long run. People will not like you! There
will also be times when you get out of class to go to the gym and
watch a Pep Rally! Spirt week you get to dress up and just have fun!
Teachers are normally nice! But just dont be scared! Look at all the
neat things that happen! I loved it and wasnt really scared! You wont
be either!!

Well, the middle school i am in is for grades 7 and 8. Last year,
when I started 7th grade, I was so nervous! All I wanted was to go
back to my old elementary school. But that wasnt gonna happen.
Middle school is no where near as scary as people think it is. On my
first day last year, yes, I did get lost, but teachers helped me find
my way around, and I wasnt the only one who was lost. Just remember,
you are not the only one who is going through it. The are millions of
other people who start Middle School every year. I have learned alot
from my 2 years in Middle school. Withen those two years ( or 3, or
however many years your school is)you will lose friends, and gain more
friends, have crushes and get crushed, deal with gossip, and start
gossip. And thats just in the hall. In the classroom, you will have
more than one teacher, but they will all try to help you. Middle
school is really great. Dont sweat it, its a breeze. Give it about a

Middle school is a breeze once you have been there for about a week.
If you have gone to an elementary school in that city and go to a
middle school with all your friends than that is really good but if
you are brand new, like I was, you may have a problem. Just talk to
someone you are assigned to sit next to. If you can sit wherever you
want then sit by someone who looks like they might have the same
interests that you do. Just spark up a conversation like, hey I am new
here could you show me around? Usually they will be nice and show you.
When they are touring the school for you talk to them about stuff
like, yeah so what class do you go to next or something like that. On
the first day of school I went to all my classes and then at lunch I
just sat by a girl I sat by in my 3rd period class and said Hi, can I
eat lunch with you? She said yeah, sure and now we are great friends.
She introduced me to a lot of people and I am having a blast at
school. I think middle school is a lot easier than elementary school
because you don't stay in one spot for over 2 hours so you don't have
to keep on working on the same thing for the whole day. Also, you have
many different opportunities to change classes throughout the year. In
elementary school if you didn't have the same class as your friends it
would be like, oh too bad, maybe next year. Now it's like, well maybe
next quarter or I could get my schedule changed tomorrow! Well I
better go before I keep on talking and talking and talking. I hope I

If your worried about middle school you really shouldn't be. The
older kids really don't pick on the younger kids unless the younger
kids make a comment. If you take the bus you should know where
everyone sits. Only the eight graders sit in the back, only the
seventh graders sit in the middle, but anyone can sit in the front
with the sixth graders though they raley do. If your new to the
school it's always hard because there are always "cliks" from the
other school but if you talk to people you can usually get in the "cliks".
Gossip can be pretty bad sometimes. All the "populars" talk behind
your back and make stuff up about you. For example: "Did you see
Randy's legs?!?! She doesn't even shave!!! How gross!!!" then they
spread the word. You have to stick up for yourself. You really don't
need to worry about getting lost in the halls because there are
techers to show you where to go. All in all middle school really
isn't that bad except for the gossip.

When I moved here in the middle of the school year, I thought that it
would be VERY hard for me to fit in and get good grades. My old
school Medea Creek, was VERY hard on me. The thing I like most about
middle school is that you get to meet all new people and make new
friends. It feels like you are starting over, like in kindergarden.
The thing I like least about middle school is how you sometimes get
criticized of what you wear, if you're clumsy, if you fit in, if
you're in style, or my least favorite, what your opinion is. What I
was most surprised about middle school is that the teachers REALLY
want to help you succeed, not resent you. I have learned that I have
to REALLY keep up my self confidence, and guess what? By doing that,
I went to honor roll! All A's! I have learned that good friends
are not too hard to come by, but you really have to try to be patient
and nice to keep your relationship clean. I have to be REALLY
patient with one of my friends, she moved from Japan and doesn't
understand too much english. But, she turned out to be one of my
best friends. I also learned that the world doesn't revolve around
you, sometimes you have to help yourself. I think that my favorite
subject is LAE (Language Arts Exploration) because of my teacher, Mr.
White. He is the most wonderful teacher I could ever have.
He is really outgoing and unique. He doesn't just teach
you about Language Arts, he teaches you about life.

Last year when i was in 7th grade.... our middle school was brand new!
ERMS is a really new school for grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. I remember
how our choir wanted to perform for elementary schools doing fun
disney songs and dances.... and our 8th grade choir did it first! now
that im an 8th grader.... some of the boys push around the 6th graders
and i think thats really mean. As much for gossip... well kids can be
really cruel. If you get a good circle of friends, like i have, then
school isnt so hard... i know girls have diaries and journals.... but
im not the writing typ.e i just confess to my friends. we are
eachother's diaries.
If your getting picked on... dont let people push you around, even if
they are older. they have no right. I stick up for the 6th graders at
my school when i can, but they are gunna be on their own next year.
Next year im going to The Freshman center.... a building for ALL 9th
graders.... when i was in 6th grade, that building was an ALL 6th
graders building called Shariden Trails. We didnt have to worry about
older people picking on us too badly. I hope that you guys all have a

I am scared a little but after a while i know it will be fun also i

I like the idea of having different schools and not just a really big
school. I think if there were no in-between schools it would be pretty
boring. I know it will be more challeing than elementery but i like
the ideas of having Elementary,Middle,and High schools and not just a
kindergarten class and then having a 1-12 school if the kindergarten
was in a small area. I think it would be too much havic and there
wouldnt be enough learning going on, and they would need to many
teachers and people to help out. The kids would also be distrated.
Thats why i want to go to middle school and have alot of fun.

Middle school is a little better than elementary school because
lockers can be used.also it is better because it's a much bigger
school.in middle school i also know that you have only 3 minates to
get from one class to the other,it seems short but it isn't.in middle
school 6th graders are the young ones.Im middle school you can also
pick from many catagories for lunch.but in elemenary school 5th
graders are the big kids.even though in middle school i'm a kid i
still can't wait to go there.please e-mail me back some tips or advice
in which that i need to know about middle school.
